DR. PHILLIPS ROTARY LIBRARY PROJECT
April 2006 - Present
The Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips, celebrating 28 years of
service to the Dr. Phillips Community, has coordinated a capital campaign to
improve and enhance the Southwest Library Branch, Orange County Library
System, located in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando.
PROJECT FACTS : Honorary Chairperson:
Orange County Commissioner Teresa Jacobs
Campaign Details:
To enhance the physical interior of the library, to include:
A beautification of the interior entrance area
A redesign of the children's area
Campaign Strategy:
A grassroots effort is occurring with both businesses and residences
of the Dr. Phillips area.
Matching Grants:
The Orange County Library System has agreed to match every
dollar contributed up to $30,000.
100% Contribution:
Importantly, 100% of all contributions will be utilized directly
for the above
mentioned improvements.
Tax Deductible:
Since contributions are made payable to the Dr. Phillips Rotary,
a non-profit charity, the donation should be tax deductible – please check with
a tax advisor for specific details.
